The Oceanside Mariners can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They claimed a resounding 95-68 win over Lincoln Academy on the road. Oceanside's victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Leading Oceanside to victory were Cohen Galley and Carter Galley. Galley scored 22 points along with eight assists and eight rebounds, while Galley scored 29 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Galley is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Trevin Ripley, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Oceanside pushed their record up to 9-0 with that win, which was their ninth straight on the road. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 24.89 points. As for Lincoln Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 8-2.
Oceanside will head out on the road to challenge Spruce Mountain at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lincoln Academy, they will be playing at home against Winslow at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Maine (Winslow is ranked 50th, while Lincoln Academy is ranked 29th).
