They claimed a resounding 56-25 win over Milburn on the road. The victory was familiar territory for Oklahoma School for the Deaf who now have five in a row.
Oklahoma School for the Deaf's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but RyJan Reininger led the charge by dropping a double-double on 23 points and 14 rebounds. The game was Reininger's tenth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Justin Kale, who scored 16 points along with 5 assists.
Their wins bumped Texas School for the Deaf to 1-1 and Incarnate Word Academy to 3-7.
Texas School for the Deaf didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Oklahoma School for the Deaf in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, but they still walked away with a 37-33 victory.
