After three games on the road, Gunderson is heading back home. They will take on the San Jose Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, Gunderson had just enough and edged Independence out 3-2. That's two games straight that Gunderson has won by exactly one goal.
They hit Independence with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Dusan Gutierrez,
Paul Clayton, and
Jonathan Salazar.
Meanwhile, San Jose kept a clean sheet against Gilroy on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Mustangs.
Gunderson now has a winning record of 8-7. As for San Jose, their victory bumped their record up to 4-9-4.
