After a string of three wins, Chino Hills's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Valley View Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Huskies of the 8-4 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.
Chino Hills saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jocelyn Garcia, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.
Chino Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Valley View, they pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
