It was a Battle of the Birds when Front Range Baptist faced off against Rocky Mountain Lutheran on Tuesday. The Falcons were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eagles. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
The final score came out to 25-15, 25-20, 25-13.

Front Range Baptist's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Leni Dorfeld led the charge by getting ten kills, five aces, and three blocks. Dorfeld is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last ten games she's played. Another player making a difference was Hadyn Woods, who had ten kills, three digs, and two aces.
Meanwhile, Victory Prep Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against Mile High Academy, falling 3-0.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-12, 25-8.
Victory Prep Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Front Range Baptist, their win bumped their record up to 14-8.
Front Range Baptist took their victory against Victory Prep Academy in their previous matchup on October 7th by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
