Soccer Recap: East Valley Finishes Even with Sherman Oaks CES

For the first time this season, East Valley was forced to settle for a draw. They and the Sherman Oaks CES Knights finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Monday.

East Valley's goal came courtesy of Genesis Escobar, who's now up to 16 this season.

With that draw, East Valley's record moves to 9-1-1. Meanwhile, Sherman Oaks CES's record is now 4-3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Valley will face off against Vaughn at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. East Valley's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Vaughn's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Sherman Oaks CES, they will square off against Northridge Academy at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. Sherman Oaks CES is facing Northridge Academy at the right time seeing as Northridge Academy is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
