It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Bradshaw Christian The Pride ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They managed a 76-72 win over Rosemont. The victory was nothing new for Bradshaw Christian as they're now sitting on three straight.
Josh O'neal continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 27 points and 12 rebounds. He hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Caleb Carson, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Rosemont's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Amahd Ellis, who scored 29 points along with four steals and two blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ellis has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Nick Wafula, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds.
Bradshaw Christian's win bumped their record up to 15-11. As for Rosemont, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-15.
Bradshaw Christian will head out on the road to take on the Diamondbacks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rosemont, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Galt has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 29.
