While Lodi's victory against St. Mary wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Flames won by a run and slipped past the Rams 6-5. The Flames haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Abigail Schweigerdt was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up five earned runs off five hits. Schweigerdt was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one RBI.

In other batting news, Bailey Nelson and Zoe Benke did most of the damage at the plate: Nelson got on base in four of her five plate appearances with two runs, while Benke went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Taylor Blank was another key player, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with one run.

Lodi's record is now 9-5-1. As for St. Mary's, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-3.

Lodi didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-3 loss against Tracy on the 7th. As for St. Mary's, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 13-1 victory against Ben Holt College Prep Academy on the 2nd.
