Jack Cook posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. He struck out 13 batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.
