Archbishop Stepinac dropped down to 6-3 on Saturday, ending the team's four-game streak of wins. They were beaten by the St. Anthony's Friars 49-21. Despite the loss, Archbishop Stepinac still got an impressive performance from John Smith, who picked up 72 receiving yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 78 yards on only eight carries. Julani Graham was in the mix too, providing the Crusaders with two TDs.

The team also got some help courtesy of Anthony Diieso, who threw for 216 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Archbishop Stepinac has already played their next contest, a 49-21 loss against Iona Prep on the 1st. As for St. Anthony's, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 39-13 victory against Fordham Prep on the 31st.
