The O'Neill Eagles are taking a road trip to take on the Boone Central Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. O'Neill has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
O'Neill is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Crofton 65-30. The Eagles pushed the score to 47-18 by the end of the third, a deficit the Warriors had little chance of recovering from.

Brady Eichelberger and Braxen Eichelberger were among the main playmakers for O'Neill as the former went 6 for 11 on his way to 12 points in addition to five assists and four steals and the latter went 5 of 9 en route to 13 points. That's the most steals Brady has posted since back in January of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Trevor Alder, who posted eight points.
Meanwhile, Boone Central had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They managed a 51-46 win over the Bluejays.

O'Neill came out on top in a nail-biter against Boone Central in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, sneaking past 51-49. The rematch might be a little tougher for O'Neill since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
