Center Place's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They were dealt a 49-16 loss at the hands of Christian Learning Center. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Center Place has scored all season.
Christian Learning Center's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Rylie Allen, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and two blocks. Callie Trezona was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with six rebounds.
Center Place has fallen quite a ways from their 17-2 record last season and are now at 2-6. As for Christian Learning Center, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Center Place will challenge Applewood Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Christian Learning Center, they will head out on the road to square off against Chanute Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Chanute Christian is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
