The Gallatin Green Wave's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their ninth straight loss. They were dealt a 73-22 loss at the hands of Beech. Gallatin was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-10.
Leading Beech to victory were Carson Sisk and Bailey Ford. Sisk scored 13 points along with six steals, while Ford scored 21 points along with three steals. Sisk has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 19 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Dani James, who scored 12 points along with two steals.
Gallatin's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Beech, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-7.
Gallatin will be playing at home against the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Tennessee (Riverdale is ranked 302nd, while the Green Wave are ranked 278th). As for Beech, they will head out on the road to challenge the Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
