Volleyball Recap: Meade Gets the Win

Meade won the last time they faced Satanta and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Buffaloes came out on top against the Indians by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Buffaloes.

Meade not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Satanta between 16 and 17 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-16.

Kenadie Alexander paced Meade's offense, picking up six kills. Alexander got some help from Sayler Stapleton and her 15 assists. Alexander was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Meade's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-3. As for Satanta, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Meade will challenge rival Minneola on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Satanta is set to face off against their familiar foe Bucklin on Tuesday.
