The Olympus Titans had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Box Elder 41-14 on the road. Winning may never get old, but Olympus sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
It was another big night for Chase Moseley, who threw for 380 yards and five touchdowns while completing 92.6% of his passes. Ty Seagle did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 113 receiving yards.
When it comes to explaining why Box Elder lost, one person who can't be blamed is Daxton Sumko. Despite the final result, he rushed for 160 yards and two touchdowns.
Olympus pushed their record up to 8-4 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 37.3 points per game. As for Box Elder, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-3.
Olympus will face off against Timpview at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. Timpview is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Box Elder does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
