Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Monte Vista was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 231 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Coastal Academy only rushed for 110.
Grossmont's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Monte Vista, the victory also got them back to even at 2-2.
