When it comes to explaining why Vista Ridge lost, one person who can't be blamed is Matthais Johnson. Despite the final result, he scored 6 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 blocks.
Fossil Ridge's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Vista Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Fossil Ridge will look to defend their home court on Friday against George Washington at 8:00 p.m. As for Vista Ridge, they will face off against Windsor at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Windsor focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 34 on Wednesday.
