The third road matchup was the charm for Pine Plains, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They blew past the Ellenville Blue Devils 12-1 on Wednesday. The Bombers haven't had any issues with the Blue Devils recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Pine Plains got a massive performance out of Warren Lounsbury, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple marked the first that Lounsbury has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Ryan Blass, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-4. As for Ellenville, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pine Plains will challenge Cairo-Durham at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.63 runs per game on average), something the Bombers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Ellenville, they will face off against Webutuck at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
