Berkley hasn't had much luck against Bloomfield Hills recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Bears will take on the Black Hawks at 4:30 p.m. Berkley will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
Berkley's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over Farmington. The Bears haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Ethan Roth looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in May of 2024.

At the plate, Berkley got a massive performance out of Willem Allen, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those three stolen bases gave Allen a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Reed Reynolds, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.
Berkley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .679. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Bloomfield Hills came up short against Adams on Wednesday, falling 10-2. The Black Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Drew H made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Devon C also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Bloomfield Hills' loss dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Berkley, their win bumped their record up to 8-12.
Everything went Berkley's way against Bloomfield Hills in their previous meeting on Monday, as Berkley made off with an 8-2 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bears since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
