North Buncombe was led to victory by Aubrey Gilliland and Gracie Edmonds. Gilliland scored 11 points along with eight steals and five assists, while Edmonds scored 16 points along with nine rebounds. Lily Metcalf was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
North Buncombe's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Enka, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.
North Buncombe will head out on the road to square off against Erwin at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Enka won't have much time to rest: their next game is against T.C. Roberson at 4:30 p.m. on January 18th. T.C. Roberson is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
