After a string of three wins, the Boonville Pirates's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They took a 65-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of Eldon. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Sydney Halderman continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Eldon, dropping a double-double on 27 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Zoe Martonfi, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds.
Boonville's defeat dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Eldon, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-9.
Boonville will take on California at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Eldon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
