They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 win over the Lee County Yellow Jackets. The victory was nothing new for the Raiders as they're now sitting on three straight.
Evan Hodges was excellent, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one double.
Richmond's win bumped their record up to 16-9. As for Lee County, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-13.
Looking ahead, Richmond will take on Pinecrest at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Raiders 3.4, the Patriots 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned. Lee County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
