The Tipton Blue Devils will stay at home for another game and welcome the Tri Titans at 9:00 a.m. on December 27th. Tipton comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 13 points in their last four games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
Last Wednesday, Tipton was beaten by Anderson 83-12.
Meanwhile, Tri waltzed into their matchup Wednesday with nine straight wins but they left with ten. They claimed a resounding 69-31 victory over Winchester Community at home. Tri might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won seven matchups by 28 points or more this season.
Tri's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kenley Cornelius, who scored 21 points along with four steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Cornelius has scored at least 25% of Tri's points. Another player making a difference was Jillian Chew, who scored 18 points along with six steals.
Tipton's defeat was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-11. As for Tri, their win bumped their record up to 12-1.
