Johnny Hobgood and Co. Win 20th in a Row
Decatur picked up their 20th consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Johnny Hobgood. Hobgood produced his best game of the campaign : he threw for 257 yards and three touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes, and also rushed for 38 yards and two touchdowns. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.
Decatur pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. Hobgood and Decatur will challenge North Caroline at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
