The BASIS - Scottsdale Bulldogs lost against the Eduprize Eagles back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. BASIS - Scottsdale had to suffer through a rough 71-29 loss at the hands of the Eagles. BASIS - Scottsdale has struggled against the Eagles recently, as their matchup on Monday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, BASIS - Scottsdale saw an underclassman step up: Nithish Prakash scored 12 points along with four steals. Prakash hasn't dropped below two steals for seven straight games. Another player making a difference was Aaryan Dwvedi, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and two steals.
BASIS - Scottsdale's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Eduprize, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. BASIS - Scottsdale will take on the Heroes at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Heritage Academy is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 53.4 points per game this season. Eduprize is on the road again on Tuesday and plays the Storm at 7:00 p.m. on January 30th. Imagine Prep is on a six-game streak of home wins, the Eagles a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
