The Patriots beat the Cougars by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 8-1. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.

Nickerson got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base, while Tolley went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and one triple. Those three runs gave Nickerson a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Bertrand, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
