The Roncalli Jets will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against the Hilbert Wolves at 5:30 p.m. on October 19th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Wisconsin (Roncalli is ranked 324th, while Hilbert is ranked 311th).
Last Thursday, Roncalli and Sheboygan Area Lutheran/Kohler/Sheboygan County Christian were almost perfectly matched up, but Roncalli suffered an agonizing 8-7 defeat.
Meanwhile, Hilbert ended up a good deal behind Manitowoc Lutheran on Thursday and lost 32-14. Hilbert has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Logan Dohr put forth a good effort for the losing side as he rushed for 115 yards and a touchdown.
Roncalli's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 0-9. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 8.4 points per game. Hilbert has not been sharp this season, as they've lost eight of their first nine matchups, which leaves them at a 1-8 record this season.
