Kohl Collins Goes Supernova in Fairfield Win
Starting off the list is Fairfield's Kohl Collins, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Collins threw for 363 yards and five touchdowns while completing 73.1% of his passes, and also rushed for 73 yards and a touchdown. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for four or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
The win (which was Fairfield's fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-2. Collins and Fairfield will venture away from home to take on Huntington at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Teague came up short on Friday despite Zak Leija delivering his best game to date. Leija rushed for 196 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He has become a key player for Teague: the team is undefeated when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise.
Unfortunately for Fairfield, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Leija. Leija rushed for 145 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries, and also threw for 141 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 passes the last time he and the Eagles duked it out back in November of 2023.
