Top Football Recruits on the Basketball Court
Malachi Dupre, WR, Curtis (River Ridge, La.)
Malachi Dupre is a track and field star in addition to basketball and football.

College: LSU
Football highlights: The Patriots were 50-4 during Dupre's four years in the program, winning three state titles.
Basketball highlights: Dupre could add to his state championship haul — which also includes six track and field titles — this season with the Curtis hoops squad. The Patriots are 14-5 and currently ranked No. 4 in Class 3A.
Lorenzo Carter, DL, Norcross (Ga.)
With four basketball and football state titles already under his belt, Lorenzo Carter is attempting to get one for the thumb with the Norcross hoops team.

College: Georgia is the favorite to land the 6-foot-5 defensive end, who is expected to announce his decision Wednesday.
Football highlights: Registering 132 tackles and six sacks, Carter helped the Blue Devils repeat as 6A state champions.
Basketball highlights: Considered a potential Division I target early in his hardwood career, Carter has already won a pair of state titles — including one at Whitefield Academy before transferring to Norcross. He hit the winning free throw with 1.9 seconds remaining in the team's last outing, a 59-58 win over Peachtree Ridge.

Basketball highlights: A fast and physical guard, McCaffrey averages 10.2 points per game for Colorado's top-ranked Class 4A program.

Football highlights: Piled up 71 tackles, 14 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks as a senior for Capital Christian. Capped prep gridiron career with trip to the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
Basketball highlights: Lealao is a key cog for the 19-3 Cougars, averaging nearly 10 points per game.

Football highlights: Alabama, Auburn, Clemson and Tennessee were all in pursuit of the 6-6, 300-pounder before he picked the Gators. Participated in the U.S. Army All-American Game in early January.
Basketball highlights: Averaged over 15 points per game at the prestigious City of Palms Classic in December for nationally-ranked Providence, but left the school for nearby Fletcher in a bit of a head-scratcher not long after.

Basketball highlights: Playing for legendary former Detroit Country Day (Mich.) head coach Kurt Keener, Andrews didn't take the floor for Desert Mountain until Jan. 21. He has averaged 7.2 points and 7.3 rebounds per game in the six games since.
