Torres will square off against Franklin at 7:00 PM on Friday. Torres are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the game prepared for a fight.
Torres didn't have too many spare points in their match with Marshall last Friday, but they still walked away with a 12-6 victory. Senior Jorge Zepeda, who accumulated 166 passing yards and punched in 1 rushing TD, was a major factor in Torres's success. In fact, with nine tackles Zepeda was a force on both sides of the ball.
Meanwhile, Franklin were averaging 42.25 points per game entering their contest last Friday, but they just couldn't find their rhythm against Eagle Rock. Franklin were dealt a punishing 6-56 defeat at the hands of Eagle Rock. Franklin's loss signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.
Everything went Torres' way against Franklin the last time the two teams met as they made off with a 64-33 win.
