The Coahulla Creek Colts will face off against the Ringgold Tigers at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday.
 Coahulla Creek is headed into the  contest out to prove that what happened against North Murray  on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Coahulla Creek came up short against  North Murray, falling  40-15. The  loss   continues a  trend for the Colts in their matchups with the Mountaineers: they've now lost nine in a row.
 Despite the  defeat, Coahulla Creek saw an underclassman step up: sophomore  Tyler Douglas picked up 72 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Douglas' longest reception was for an incredible 72 yards.
 Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Ringgold beat Sonoraville 20-14 last Friday.
 Coahulla Creek's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Ringgold, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record  this season.
 Coahulla Creek skirted past Ringgold  20-17 in their previous meeting  back in October of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Coahulla Creek since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
