Washington Union's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Tayven Holland, who scored 14 points along with three steals, and Jayden Sweazy, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds. That's the first time this season that Holland grabbed two or more steals. Decurtis Stroud was another key contributor, scoring six points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Immanuel's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They took a 83-69 bruising from Selma. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Immanuel in their matchups with Selma: they've now lost four in a row.
Washington Union's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-11. As for Immanuel, their defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 10-10.
