The Wauseon Indians will head out on the road to square off against the Northview Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wauseon is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.
Last Saturday, Wauseon strolled past the Blue Devils with points to spare, taking the game 62-46. Given Wauseon's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 208th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 513th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Northview had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 53-41 win over Springfield on Friday.
Wauseon has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Northview, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-9.
Wauseon took a serious blow against the Wildcats in their previous matchup back in January of 2022, falling 72-37. Can Wauseon avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
