The Pascack Hills Broncos are on the road again on Wednesday and play against the Lyndhurst Golden Bears at 10:30 a.m. on December 27th. Lyndhurst took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Pascack Hills, who comes in off a win.
Last Thursday, everything came up roses for Pascack Hills on the road against Dwight Morrow as the squad secured a 51-19 win.
Meanwhile, Lyndhurst had to suffer through a rough 71-21 loss at the hands of Secaucus. While losing is never fun, Lyndhurst can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 62nd, while Secaucus is ranked ninth).
Brooke Harper was Lyndhurst's leading scorer, having posted ten points.
Sam Mayer held things down on the boards with six rebounds. She took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with five assists.
Pascack Hills' victory bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Lyndhurst, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2.
Pascack Hills came up short against Lyndhurst when the teams last played back in February, falling 31-23. Can Pascack Hills avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
