For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last seven times Salem and Cuba have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Tuesday. The Tigers' pitchers stepped up to hand the Wildcats a 10-0 shutout. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by nine runs or more this season.

Salem's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-6-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Cuba, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.

Salem does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cuba, they will challenge Stoutland at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
