Glendale is 1-8 against Cortez since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Glendale Cardinals will be home for the holidays to greet the Cortez Colts at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Glendale pushed their score all the way to 59 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 70-59 to Westview. Glendale has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Cortez came up short against Eastmark on Monday and fell 62-52. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Cortez has scored all season.
Glendale has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Cortez, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.
Glendale was dealt a bruising 74-42 loss at the hands of Cortez in their previous meeting back in November of 2022. The game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Glendale was down 44-20.
