The Trenton Tigers will venture away from home to challenge the Chiefland Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Trenton is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games.
Last Thursday, Trenton made easy work of Bell and carried off a 10-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won ten matches by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Brant Bivens, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jordan Marlo, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
Meanwhile, Chiefland got the win against Oak Hall on Friday by a conclusive 12-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.
Trey Meeks was excellent, scoring a run while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Colton Brown, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.
Chiefland always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .524. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Trenton's victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Chiefland, they now have a winning record of 10-9.
Chiefland's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Trenton hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .344. It's a different story for Chiefland, though, as they've only averaged .246. Will they be able to contain Trenton's hitters?
Everything went Trenton's way against Chiefland in their previous matchup two weeks ago, as Trenton made off with a 9-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
