The Chadron Cardinals won the last time they faced the Alliance Bulldogs, and things went their way on Saturday too. Chadron came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 46-38. The win made it back-to-back wins for Chadron.
Taegan Bach had an outrageously good game as she scored 17 points along with two steals. She is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Taverra Sayaloune, who scored nine points.
Macey Seebohm and Jaelynne Clarke certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Seebohm scored 16 points along with four steals, while Clarke almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Seebohm has scored all season.
Chadron has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. As for Alliance, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.
The pair will face off at 5:30 p.m. on January 30th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Alliance focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Saturday.
