Maddie McGlynn was huge no matter where she played even without the win. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 11 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and seven unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April of 2024. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.
