The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Victory Christian in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now lost six in a row.
Heritage Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Nimi Metiko, who scored 16 points. Cody Buetow was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Victory Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Heritage Christian Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-9.
Victory Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Heritage Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Mariners at 6:30 p.m. on February 2nd. Pamlico Christian Academy is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
