In what's become a running theme this season, the DSST: Montview Knights gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Platte Canyon 65-24 on the road. The victory was familiar territory for DSST: Montview who now have 14 in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead DSST: Montview to victory, but perhaps none more so than Harun Hamma, who scored 16 points along with five assists and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Tara Majok, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 15 rebounds.
Despite the defeat, Platte Canyon had strong showings from Max Flores, who scored ten points along with two steals, and Jack McMahen, who scored five points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
DSST: Montview's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.0 points per game. As for Platte Canyon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.
DSST: Montview will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Middle Park is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 56.6 points per game this season. As for Platte Canyon, they will head out on the road to square off against the Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
