Ardsley came tearing into Tuesday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Hendrick Hudson Sailors. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by six runs or more this season.

Ardsley's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Hendrick Hudson, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coming up, Ardsley will take on Edison in a tournament on Saturday. Hendrick Hudson will be paying especially close attention to the Panthers' contest: after the Panthers face off against Rye Neck, they'll take on Hendrick Hudson again at 4:30 p.m. on the 9th.
