Conway Springs came tearing into Tuesday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Douglass Bulldogs. The game was the first time the Cardinals have beaten the Bulldogs on their court since October 21, 2017.

Conway Springs easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-15.

Lairen Pauly paced Conway Springs' offense, picking up seven kills. Pauly got some help from Lanie Hartman and her 11 assists. Reece Johnson controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Conway Springs' victory bumped their record up to 17-9. As for Douglass, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-17 record this season.

Conway Springs wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Winfield on the 11th. As for Douglass, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Solomon on the 9th.
