Glenn has been on the road for six straight, but on Saturday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Winamac Warriors at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (Glenn is ranked 205th, while Winamac is ranked 187th).
Even though Glenn has not done well against South Bend St. Joseph recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Glenn came out on top against South Bend St. Joseph by a score of 41-30.
Glenn can attribute much of their success to Dre Weddington, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and three steals, and Sophia Romer, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Reese, who scored six points.
Meanwhile, Winamac came up short against Triton on Tuesday and fell 35-25. Winamac has not had much luck with Triton recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Glenn's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-9. As for Winamac, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-7.
