The Spalding Jaguars will be playing at home against the Carver Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Spalding will be looking to keep their seven-game home win streak alive.
Even though Perry scored an imposing 59 points on Friday, Spalding still came out on top. Spalding took their matchup against the Panthers 68-59.
Spalding's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Curt Clark, who scored 24 points along with five assists and three steals. Bahji Daniel was another key contributor, scoring 21 points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Carver took a serious blow against the Patriots on Thursday, falling 83-21. Carver has not had much luck with the Patriots recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Spalding has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. As for Carver, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-13.
Spalding couldn't quite finish off the Panthers in their previous meeting back in December of 2015 and fell 54-51. Can Spalding avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
