You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for Waldron on Saturday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the Rock Creek Academy Lions out of the water with a 68-8 final score. The win continues a trend for the Mohawks in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won five in a row.

Jamarcus Hamilton and Jonah Martin certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Hamilton picked up 105 receiving yards and one TD, while Martin rushed for 52 yards. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 80 yards.

Waldron's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Rock Creek Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
