Last Friday, East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum] didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against the Vikings, but they still walked away with a 80-75 win. The win was just what East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum] needed coming off of a 91-39 defeat in their prior matchup.
It was another big night for Stuart Dow, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 13 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Cash Holmes, who scored 17 points.
Meanwhile, Vashon Island's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their tenth straight loss. They fell 74-67 to Klahowya.
East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum]'s win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Vashon Island, they dropped their record down to 2-16 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight at home.
