Woodward's rough 62-38 defeat to Ross might stick with them for a while. Woodward has struggled against Ross recently, as their contest on Saturday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Ross got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tykell Patterson out in front who scored 16 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals. Justin Haralson was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 6 rebounds.
Woodward's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Ross, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Woodward will be playing at home against Africentric Early College at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Ross, they will head out on the road to face off against Northview at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
