If the UIC College Prep Firecats were riding high off their 71-29 takedown of the Roosevelt Rough Riders last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. UIC College Prep fell to Fasman Yeshiva 55-51.
Despite the defeat, UIC College Prep saw an underclassman step up: Jayden Coleman scored 16 points along with six rebounds and six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Andre Boone, who scored ten points along with two steals.
UIC College Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 14-14. As for Fasman Yeshiva, their win bumped their record up to 7-5.
UIC College Prep's road trip will continue as they head out to face Intrinsic at 5:00 p.m. on February 13th. Hopefully UIC College Prep focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 on Sunday. As for Fasman Yeshiva, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Northside at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
