Basketball Recap: Native American Community Academy/Evangel Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Native American Community Academy/Evangel Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a blow against the Menaul Panthers, falling 75-44.

Menaul can attribute much of their success to J'Quan Samuels, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Samuels a new career-high in assists (two). Another player making a difference was Talen Lucero, who posted two points in addition to six assists, five boards, and five steals.

Native American Community Academy/Evangel Christian Academy's record now sits at 3-14. As for Menaul, their victory bumped their record up to 8-10.

Native American Community Academy/Evangel Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 72-23 loss against Legacy Academy on the 30th. As for Menaul, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 53-6 win against Monte Del Sol Charter on the 29th.
